This leather is intentionally untreated at a surface level, allowing it to develop a natural patina over time—darkening, softening, and evolving uniquely with use.
Inside, the wallet reveals a contrasting full-grain vegetable-tanned forest green cowhide interior. The pairing of wine red and forest green creates a controlled visual tension—warm, grounded, and distinctly premium without relying on decorative excess.
Construction is fully hand-executed. Each piece is saddle stitched using basil green waxed thread at a precise 3.35 mm stitch interval. Saddle stitching is chosen for structural integrity; it does not unravel easily and maintains strength even under long-term stress. All edges are hand burnished and creased to ensure durability and a clean finish that resists fraying over time.
