The Obsidian & Rose Edition from the Regula Series by Mont Pedro Leather brings together the commanding depth of black and the rich warmth of rose red in a design defined by deliberate contrast.

The exterior is crafted from full-grain, vegetable-tanned cowhide embossed with a distinctive crocodile pattern. Its deep-black surface reveals sculpted scales and subtle ridges that interact with changing light, creating texture and visual depth. Bold yet refined, the exterior draws inspiration from the dark, glass-like character of obsidian stone.

The interior features full-grain, vegetable-tanned, oil-waxed rose-red cowhide, introducing a rich, warm contrast to the black exterior. Its distinctive colour and natural leather character give the wallet an expressive interior, while the leather can develop a unique patina through use and proper care.

Every panel is joined using crimson-red waxed thread, with traditional saddle stitching performed entirely by hand. The consistent 3.38 mm stitch spacing creates a deliberate visual rhythm, complementing the rose-red interior while reflecting the precision invested in the construction.

The finishing receives the same attention. Every edge is hand-burnished, and the crease lines are formed by hand to achieve a clean, defined silhouette.
